Biblioteca sin paredes

Book'em has bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers who handle the Bilingual Story Times at Edmondson Pike Library Branch one Saturday a month.

Book'em's mission is to promote the love of books and reading among children in the community. Volunteer commitment is for one hour, plus travel time, per story time.

Anyone interested in sharing a little of their time reading with children, please call Martha Ann Pilcher at 615-646-8212 or email volunteers@bookem-kids.org.

This program was initially made possible through a grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

Our Library Without Walls book program currently donates thousands of books to children, with a limited number of those books being bilingual books.
